Seeing the thread about Crossroads just reminded me... I admit to actually enjoying Eldorado - even though it was very shaky at the start. It definitely improved as it went on, as did the viewing figures. Shame the Beeb didn't have the balls to stick with it. If anyone else has fond memories, there's a pretty good fan site - www.losbarcos.org.uk/index.htm

Thanks Blackcatz..I have added that site to my bookmarks & will peruse it at leisure...I loved Eldorado & was gutted when it was axed.

true it was shaky at the start...but they got Corrine Hollingsworth in as the new producer..she took it by the scruff of the neck and gave it a good shake....got rid of the naff actors..improved the sound qualities etc...and it was shaping up to be a good series till it was suddenly axed..the BBC didn't give it a proper chance
it was certianly better than watching dreary old Albert Square
