Mine has to be Tom. I have vague memories of Pertwee and cried when he regenerated when I was 4. But even watching them all fresh on UK Gold from back in 92, Tom still comes out on top even though I enjoyed them all. I though McGann was good in the TV movie but the film itself was rubbish. It's a shame he wasn't given more of a chance. I've liked his Big Finish audios.

I thought Tom Baker the best, closely followed by Jon Pertwee.

He was completely mad, just like in real life! LOL! I wasn't too keen on some of his later stories under Graham Williams and JNT. They didn't seem to have that something they had in the past making it enjoyable and fun, even with repeated viewing. Pertwee was great but his have dated a lot, haven't they? Especially the really early ones. My favourite Pertwee years are with Jo and the Master.

I loved the stories with the Master. ( I prefered the original Master, not the second one )

Agreed. Though I am a bit biased towards Anthony Ainley because I'd met him several times and he said we would stay in touch 4 years before he died. So he's a lovely man but Roger's Master was less panto villain. He was a gentleman, so suave and charming. He also had some better stories. Mind you, even Colony In Space is miles better than Time-Flight! It was such a shame Roger died in that terrible and very stupid accident. I think Ant's didn't really come into his own until Survival. By then it was too late.
