Anyone else hoping the Beeb won't rip us off with theis new series? I also hope they'll put the BBC3 programmes on as extras.

Episodes 1-3 on the 16th May with 4-6 released on the 16th June and already available to pre-order from Choices Direct at £13.59 each, despite them still not having up The Claws of Axos to pre-order!

Well I've been reliably informed the Dr Who Confidential programmes WON'T be on the box set due to too many copyright complications. I'll stick to the Vanilla releases then. Apparently too the Beatles have been removed from The Chase. Has anyone else heard about that? That'll ruin the best scene of William Russell in his cardie grandad dancing!

Anyone else got their copy of Tha Claws of Axos? Some of the picture quality now it's restored is decidedly dodgy. Mind you, it was never that great in the first place! Haven't seen the extras yet. Just listened to the commentary with Barry Letts, Richard Franklin and mad Katy Manning which was quite good.

Anyone heard anything about The Beginning box set? The friend who won't join told me earlier in the week it's been mooted for a Feb release. I hope it IS a box this time, unlike the vids. Though it was good getting The Daleks all on one tape for a change.
