Jen Lined Up For Doctor Who Role
Hell's Kitchen babe Jennifer Ellison is ready to serve up her next treat - as Doctor Who's new sidekick.
The stunning scouser is being lined up to replace Billie Piper on the hit sci-fi show, claims the Daily Star.
And she is desperate to land the £100,000 job. Her spokesman told the paper: "She would love the role - she'd be ideal!"
BBC chiefs have targeted the rising 22-year-old star to team up with new Time Lord, Casanova hunk David Tennant, who will replace Christopher Eccleston in the next series.
Billie recently announced she is quitting the role of the Doctor's companion Rose Tyler - despite the show being a ratings winner.
The paper says EastEnders actress Michelle Ryan - Zoe Slater in the soap - and Footballers Wives star Laila Rouass are also on the shortlist.
But a source said Jen is the No1 target.
"There are many names in consideration, but Jennifer's is on everyone's lips at the moment," said the source.
"Like Billie she is an actress and singer - and she's gorgeous."
Jen has already topped the bill in West End show Chicago and the film version of Phantom Of The Opera - now she wants to return to the small screen.
