According to the News of the World Billie Piper has just signed a contract for £200,000 to remain as Doctor Who's companion. She will be staying for the whole of the new series. She said she was shocked to hear she was leaving. This is good news if true.  |

Well now, according to the Mirror or People (read it far too early this morning to remember which) she's staying only for 7 eps after agreeing to be paid £120,000 or something.
