Good one Nick, I would have that that they would fetch a higher price now that Doctor Who has a new audience.

Great bargain, Nick! You'll have something to watch when this current series is over.

I hadn't thought of that. But she does whine a lot. LOL! I like The Two Doctors. It's not as good as The Three Doctors but I prefer it to the overpacked Five Doctors. More of Frazer and his legs! Have you listened to any commentaries or watched the extras? Patsy

Ah right. I didn't see that. DVD seems to have taken over my thinking. LOL! No wonder they were so cheap. My last ep of The Two Doctors video is slightly faulty but I couldn't be bothered sending it back.

Have just finished watching 'The Two doctors' I had forgotten they were 45 mins long..I didn't like it then..it seemed a bit stilted at times

That one certainly because it was 3 parts. Oscar was pretty pointless. Notice under his shirt before he's killed by Shockeye that white bandage-type thing clearly holding the fake blood under his shirt? Even the cast said they didn't work at that length. It was basically sticking 2 parts together and dropping a cliffhanger.

I also noticed that the background music was vastly reduced...thus making it feel more stilted..mind u I was never a fan of Colin Baker as the Doctor..I only got it because of Patrick Troughton..its funny innit...P.T's Doctor is supposed to have been taken from his own time stream with Jamie..But no one notices they both look 20 years older !!..I am off tomorrow on a location tour..to the derelict warehouses used on the Resurrection of the Daleks (next to Tower Bridge),,..mind you they are all luxury flats now..but I'll go and have a butchers nevertheless

Well i went......i walked down ther very same street that Rodney bewes was chased down with all those bridges going across..by crikey it's posh now, with luxury flats and exclusive restaurants etc.....I even walked on the bit where the TARDIS landed next to the river....I'm easily excited !!

I know what you mean, Nick. When me and my friend went to places, we quoted dialogue! The second time I took the camcorder so at Charlton you hear me saying,"Hello, Fox Inn". Aldbourne my friend's quoting Miss Hawthorne at the cemetary. East Hagbourne I'm on that monument pretending to be tied up like the Doctor before the bomb removes the fake Devesham. I don't think we said any dialogue at Athelhampton. Aren't location trips fun? LOL! ;D So, planning any more location trips? I can't believe I haven't been for 7 years! Goes fast.
Yes, good point about the Doctor and Jamie being 20 years older. It's a pretty naff story and very violent. But I like it anyway because of its escapism.

it wasn't an official tour..i went on the tube,I took Cleo my dog with me today,so i didn't look like a tourist walking round !! ;D,I was watching an episode of the New Avengers on DVD one day..and a part of it was where Steed & Gambit were in Steeds car and they were driving through London where everyone had gone to sleep, they pulled up in a street where a man had fallen off his bike..I saw the roadsign said Black Lion Lane..I thought 'Hello, thats near me'..off I went on my trusty mountain bike and found the very spot..I bought a sandwich from a shop and sat on a bench, while I soaked up the atmosphere..!! Am I mad..??

Totally sane, Nick. ;D Location trips (no matter what film or programme) are also a good way of seeing the country and visiting places you wouldn't normally. There was a lot of DW filmed not too far away by car from me. But unfortunately, as that friend only really likes Pertwee and Baker 1, I never get a chance of seeing any of the other Doctor's locations. But we've been to a few places. Isle of Wight for Norris Castle (closed to public - grrr!!!), Aldbourne, Athelhampton House, Rollright Stones (he was coming down to stay with me after the the Blakes 7 convention in 1998 for another location trip and we popped in en route), East Hagbourne, Wookey Hole and Charlton. All difficult places to get to without a car. Did you enjoy your sandwich? The Fleur de Lys in East Hagbourne and Blue Boar in Aldbourne do lovely pub grub. Well, they did when I went in 97 and 98 anyway. LOL!

I forgot to mention Ironbridge I've also been to while staying at Portmeirion in 2001. So that's 2 more locations. ;D

LOL! I'd be exactly the same on the Corrie cobbles if I had the chance. I was at East Hagbourne and it's on tape me, tied up like the Doctor, saying his lines. I'm a sad fan and proud of it. LOL! #exct0003#
