Does anyone know anything about the DVD edition? I'm sure I heard it was being realeased in volumes at the end of the programme a few nights, but didn't pay much attention.
I might treat myself, so do any of you know anything about it?

They're being released in two lots. There's the vanilla releases (no extras), of which eps 1-3 and 4-6 are already out (next releases Aug and Sept). Then there's the box in November crammed with extras but not Dr Who Confidential is would be the only reason I'd have got that. So I'm getting the vanilla ones because I didn't like it enough for the extras.

The box set is out November 21st here I think, for around €68 which is pretty good. It is too far off though - I want to enjoy the episodes now! Especially as I have two friends who missed the series and really want to see it.

I'm still getting the basic releases but that extra DW Confidential is making me curious. It's meant to include stuff never seen as well as being a rehash of what was on BBC3. I think I'll wait though and see exactly what it contains before jumping in and buying that too. Why couldn't they just have had the 1 release? Though I think it was Dr Who Magazine which said the basic ones are selling better than the original series. November will come round before you know it. Though with the weather as awful as it is lately, it feels like November now. LOL!

And no CE among them. OG must have got the list from DWM. Still not that interested. I'd rather suffer Janet Fielding banging on about her hair throughout 100 mins. LOL!

There was something in the papers yesterday (can't remember which one) which speculated that CE might be absent because he's annoyed at the BBC for releasing the info about him leaving before they should have done.

LOL! I don't think he took it seriously as a job anyway. I can't see him at conventions. Though Paul McGann has started going now. But CE seems too up himself.

UK Gold have started including new Who in their adverts for upcoming 'new' shows to them. They'll probably start them after they've finished the McCoy omnibuses on weekend mornings methinks!!

Blimey they don't waste much time! They've got Battlefield on the 11th and there's only about 3 after that.
