Or should it be called 'Touch Wood it doesn't go the same way as K9 and Company'? LOL! I read today it will be on BBC3. Hmm, that's optimistic for success. Maybe they're trying it out there first before putting in on BBC1.
Michael Sheard would have loved you for hating K9. He did too.

No I missed him. I didn't even know he was on until a friend asked if I had his and Louise Jameson's. Haven't replied to that email yet. Oops! John's gay? Another gorgeous bloke gone to waste! Though if he's more bi, I wouldn't mind a crack at him. I'm all for him getting his kit off again like in the penultimate ep. I really enjoyed that. Patsy

A friend told me today he heard it looks like my wish about it being up against Corrie is true. I hope so! I can imagine the headlines akin to the Daily Mail in 1987 - Dr Who Exterminates Corrie! ;D

The character of Jack in Doctor Who was apparently meant to be bisexual.

He said he has been with his male partner for 20 years..but dosent mind dabbling either way....wouldn't that be an ideal world..where u aren't labelled gay,straight,bi....and you can just live with and have 'carnal knowledge' of who ever u want whatever sex without being looked down upon

It would be ideal if everyone was bisexual yes because I really fancy my mate who is straight

Instead of gold killing them, they just fall apart! So many people weren't impressed with the design at Stockton.
Back to John Barrowman. Apparently he's so nice in person. People I spoke to had met him at the Regenerations convention in Swansea or Cardiff or wherever the hell it was in September and said he was great.

From the Mirror:
24 November 2005 EXCLUSIVE: DR HO-HO ..OH Psycho Santas attack Earth but Doc is sick and Rose is the saviour By Cameron Robertson EARTH is invaded by a gang of evil Santas in a Dr Who Christmas special - but the hero can't help as he is in the middle of regeneration into the new doctor.
Actor David Tennant is flat on his back and barely conscious as he makes his debut at the 10th Timelord.
It is left to his assistant Rose Tyler, played by Billie Piper, to save the world from the menacing Santas.
Viewers will see Earth threatened by a monstrous race called the Sycorax, who have stolen a British space probe, in a story called The Christmas Invasion.
After Dr Who collapses outside the Tardis and is packed off to bed, Rose and her boyfriend Mickey, played by Noel Clarke, go Christmas shopping.
But as they browse in a market, they find themselves under attack by a sinister brass band of deadly masked Santas. Pictures of the gang appear in a behind-the-scenes special on the Doctor Who DVD box set, which went on sale this week.
On the DVD, show producer Phil Collinson reveals: "The Santas form a four-piece band and each instrument becomes a lethal weapon.
"There is a tuba with a flame thrower in it, two trumpets that fire bullets and a trombone that fires mortars."
However, one of the Santas comes a cropper when a giant High Street Christmas tree falls on him.
More trouble brews at the Tyler home where Rose's mum Jackie and Mickey have to fend off a killer Christmas tree while Rose desperately tries to wake the doctor.
Director James Hawes said: "The Christmas Invasion is about mankind's first experience of a threat of an alien landing on the planet.
"The real twist is that the doctor is in the middle of regeneration - and he ain't there to save us."
The Sycorax leader is played by Sean Gilder, who appeared as Styles in ITV drama Hornblower and Jols in movie King Arthur.
Scottish actor Tennant took over as Dr Who after Christopher Eccleston quit the role.
He said the cast and crew had gone out their way to make his debut easier.
Tennant joked: "I'm getting there and I'm coping with it. So far I'm doing a damn fine job of being unconscious - I'd say it's my finest work. I have had a great time so far - it's been great, very friendly with a very welcoming atmosphere."
The Christmas Invasion will be shown as BBC1's flagship drama on Christmas Day.
Collinson added: "We've also been commissioned to make a Christmas special for 2006.
"So we would hope this is going to become the norm for the next couple of years."

Good lord..!!
I have been to see the stage musical 'Sunset Boulevard' twice..the first time Norma Desmond was played by Betty Buckley (she was excellent),the second time Petula Clark took the helm..she was good, but kept expecting her to burst into 'Downtown'!!...but both times writer Joe McGillis was played by John Barrowman..he was very good..with an excellent singing voice

He's very sexy. Who's Betty Buckley? Faith Brown was playing Norma when we were in Manchester 2002. No idea what she was like though.

Beety Buckley is an American actress/Singer..she was brilliant..sang the songs just like you would imagine a 1920's starlet would sing them..with a sort of quiver and fragility in her voice

A Christmas Invasion in on at 7pm Christmas Day. What's the betting Emmerdale will finish late and Corrie will start early since ITV are so childish?
