You must all know the news that Sarah Jane and K9 will be returning to the show probably just for one episode in upcoming new WHO...
...that from Elisabeth Sladen, who wrote that she could never revisit the part or play it again, in the end word she had at the back of Marvel Comic's Dr Who Special: SARAH JANE, some years ago now
Since then she's done the two Radio 2 Dr Who plays, and the Big Finish radio plays ;D
I don't think it will tie into Big Finish continuity though, she has recorded five audio plays on CD (I got them signed by her at WSM back in April, lucky me!) for them which have Sarah Jane on her own now, sans the Doctor and UNIT and with her own backup gang. There is one hint in the last play that K9 was dismantled in her attic which you can take or leave just as you please.
Frankly I love the Big Finish Doctor Who and the Sarah Jane CDs. Good adventure if you like radio plays.
Plus it proves that women in their fifties can have adventures just as much as the Who girls do in their time
Anyhow if RTD wants to bring anyone back why not the Brigadier??
