According to todays Mirror and ITV teletext Billie Piper is to quit her role as Rose Tyler after the next series of Doctor Who...the BBC say they are looking for an unknown actress to replace her,one who won't 'get bored' with the role so quickly !!!!

Well what a shame she is going but I don't blame them getting an unknown.
Been loving it so far and looking forward to the next series.

No surprise really. On Saturday morning while we were waiting for the registration desk to open to get Paul Darrow's coffee club and Maureen O'Brien's writers club tickets, people were saying "Like we didn't know that". LOL!

Captain Jack was sort of companions though wasn't he? Pity he had to go though - because of this "new doctor needing to get to know Rose". Interesting how he was refferred to in the CIN mini episode!

He's meant to be getting Rachel Stevens, who lost out to Billie for the part of Rose apparently.
It's all crap about Captain Jack going because he'd take the regeneration in his stride. Still going to inflict Jackie and Mickey on us, aren't they?
