Billie Piper's character Rose will be killed off at the end of the second series of Doctor Who.
Following speculation over her role in the third series, producers appear to have confirmed to The Sun she will not be on board.
“Rose and I have gone on the most incredible journey over the past two years," she told the paper. "And I can confirm it comes to an end, for now at least.”
She will reportedly be killed off in a battle with the Cybermen as they try to invade earth in an episode called 'Doomsday'.
Writer of the show Russell T Davies said it was a shame to lose her. “It’s been a wonderful experience working with Billie," he commented. "We’ll miss her.”

So Billie is going then - after all the speculation! Pity that the final episode involves the Cybermen. We've already had them attempt to invade Earth in a different reality, now we probably have to endure another two parter as they try to invade this Earth. It seems too reptitive.
At least it means that Jackie will be gone - as Rose will be gone. But if the Cybermen are back, could it mean that Mickey comes back for the final episode as well?
Also who do you think will play the new companion? Will they be male or female - or maybe one of each? I'd like a male and a female - just to stop the idea of the Doctor getting together with his companion like they did with Rose and the Doctor. Although knowing RTD he could introduce a love triangle between the three of them!!!
