Well it started off okay. Pity they always tell us where they are. I much preferred it in the old days when they never knew. But from The Exorcist scene it went really downhill and was rushed. As for that voice in the wardrobe, now what was that ad? Heineken - the best lager in the world? That's what I kept expecting it to say!
And don't get me started on DWC. I laughed when RTD said about good writing. What the hell does he know? Oh but Billie and 'the love of her life' is getting as tiresome as mentions of Torchwood. Cut the love bollocks! Nice to see all those old clips. Even They Keys of Marinus has better writing that this RTD rubbish and that's shite. Yes they didn't have a big budget in those days but they stories were better because they concentrated on what this doesn't - characters and storytelling.
Anyway 5/10 for the ep.

From CT Towers:
Fear Her The ratings for ‘Fear Her’ showed further improvement, which is a good sign following the somewhat polarised fan reaction to last week’s episode ‘Love and Monsters’. Clearly the public liked it sufficiently to come back for more. The average overnight ratings figure for this episode is 6.6 million representing an audience share of 39.7% which, make no mistake, is very good. The show was again in third place on Saturday in terms of viewers, behind the football and national lottery draw. The episode peaked at the conclusion with nearly 7.6 million people watching. Inferno DVD The BBC Shop in Norwich has reported problems with the new DVD release of ’Inferno’, with the vast majority of their copies of the release containing two disc 1s and no disc 2 (the extras). It Is not known if this is an isolated incident or a more widespread issue, however it might be a good idea to check your DVD as soon as you can.

I think all channels should stop this peaking business. Course things peak - people put the channel on to watch the next programme! But that audience share is crap and that's apparently what they go by.

Never did comment on this episode. Well I actually liked it and thought that it was a nice, peaceful, simple episode before the hell that breaks loose in Army of Ghosts.

Didn't miss much. Doc and Rose arrive and they fix everything in real time.
