No one watch at all then? I had it taped while I was away (sailing away from Dublin while it was on) so will catch up later in the week. 6.5 million it got.

To be honest we couldn't be bothered with it....Its such a shame because it all started off so well with Christopher Eccleston even David Tennant was good...but the stories have gone down the pan...

Don't blame you. RTD's ruined it and now it's all repetitive.

Oh dear its not looking good is it.......
they want to cut down on all the big blockbusting effects and have some good wordy drama with scary ghosty goings on that make you think..rather than having Daleks and aliens flying all over the ruddy place.
The Doc was always a mystery in the old days..if he carries on like this causing all these big hoo ha's in London,New York,Cardiff etc..,,..he's going to be more famous than Britney Spears lol

Well he's already barking. LOL!
I know what you mean. Modern is one thing. Daft with enormous plotholes, repetitive plots and you don't care about the characters is another. This will never be as good as the original. They knew how to tell a story then and have cliffhangers that didn't go on forever.

I stuck with it, but it wasn't great. A bit of a let down really, and the remaining Dalex teleported at the end of it - so he will be enivatably back at some stage. It just seemed such a stupid plot that it ruined everything else. I'm quite disappointed with the third series so far, with such emphasis on SFX and headline-grabbing stories rather than anything else.
I mean the whole idea of the Dalek's in the 1930's was a brilliant one, but the execution of that idea - with most of the Empire State being filled with almost dead humans - was just daft!!!
