I've just found this on digital spy The Master may return , ok now I'm scared he was one of them I did get frightened of on Doctor Who Valx. _______________________________________ Doctor Who producer Julie Gardner has suggested that John Simm's incarnation of The Master may return, despite the character's on-screen death. In an interview with iF Magazine, Gardner said: "It would be rude not to [leave the door open]. He’s a great character. John Simm is amazing and I would go to work every day with him. His scenes were so much fun to do." Life On Mars star Simm played The Doctor's ultimate foe in the final three episodes of the third season and was killed during the finale, his body burnt to a crisp. However, a female hand was seen reaching into the ashes and collecting the ring that The Master wore.

Sam Tyler lives again, huh? They should have cast someone less known and also written for the character properly. John Simm isn't the Master. Eric Roberts was better and he was crap.

I hope this isn't true as it would really ruin the series for me. If they wanted to bring him back they shouldn't have killed him off should they?

That bit about the Time Lords bringing him back was never fully explained in the first place. Back from where? The Eye of Harmony in the Doctor's Tardis where he ended up after they changed history in the McGann film? Planet of the Cheetah People where he was last seen at the end of the original series run? Where? Patsy
