i have just finished watching my 60's box set...the aftermath of the coach crash was a funny do
the first scene and the last but one scene and the opening & closing credits were in black & white and the rest was in colour

I knew that one because Val Barlow's death was in January 1971 and that was in Black and White and ive seen other episodes from 1971 which were in colour.
LOL I know what you mean about that episode. I think all the outside scenes were still in Black and white whilst the rest were in colour.
I shall have a think.

Believe it or not but I watched the 1971 episode with Val this morning. In fact I`m watching all the 1970`s DVDs out of sequence. But every episode is such a delight to watch. More to follow probably in the rant section

I watched them out of sequence too CG as there were loads from the late 70s I wanted to watch and couldnt wait until I got to them if I did them in order.
