Rosemary: I had nothing to do with Scarlett's disappearance

*in the street, Carl is holding Carrie*

Carrie: Where's my baby?!

*Matthew turns to Jimmy*

Matthew: Get in the car, we're going after them.
Jimmy: What?
Matthew: Arm yourselves.
Carl: What? We're already suspects for one murder
Matthew: It's just for safety

*car driving towards a large house*

Scarlett: What are you going to do?
Dark Figure: Seek revenge
Scarlett: Who are you?

*figure takes off the hood*

Scarlett leaves the house with her make up bag, hoping to meet a guy from school at the local cafe for a chat. Hopefully he might like her as much as she likes him. It isn't a date but Scarlett hopes that something might happen between them. As she walks down the street Daz comes around the corner and spots her.

Daz: Hey Scarlett!
Scarlett: (less than enthused) Oh hi Daz...
Daz: What's up?
Scarlett: Nothing. I have to go

Scarlett walks off leaving Daz confused as she heads down the street towards the cafe. Daz turns and almost bumps into Katie who has witnessed the whole event.

Daz: Oh hi Katie...
Katie: Everything alright between you and Scarlett?
Daz: She's just blanked me...I don't know why
Katie: Don't worry she might not be in a very good mood

Just then Jo steps out with Andy and sees Katie talking to Daz.

Andy: Oi Daz!
Daz: (Turning to Andy) I can talk to whoever I want alright...

Daz walks off and Katie shoots him a worried look which Andy notices and walks off after his brother. Jo approached Katie.

Jo: What's wrong with Daz?
Katie: That's not my place to say, Jo
Jo: I'm part of his family, I have the right to know.
Katie: Well I'm his friend and I'm not betraying his confidence least of all to you.

Katie walks off leaving Jo in a strop.

Meanwhile Matthew and Jimmy are having breakfast when Carl comes down. It is the morning after the brothers agreed to stick together. The other two look up as Carl joins them at the table.

Carl: I had an idea for today. Look I'm not suggesting we jump to playing happy families but Carrie invited us out to a picnic with her and Scarlett at a special show out on the hills this afternoon. It's like a performing drama group or something and they're doing Macbeth. Apaprently Scarlett reckons it could help her out with her exams.
Jimmy: I don't see why not. Matt?
Matthew: I suppose we could check it out. What time? Because Id like to get some forms filled in first.
Carl: It's for two o'clock
Matthew: I think we can make it.

Meanwhile Scarlett arrived at the cafe. The boy looked up to greet her.

Boy: Hey Scarlett...you look nice
Scarlett: Thanks you look great too....shall we sit down?
Boy: (nods) Thanks for agreeing to meet me. I was hoping she'd come. I've been wanting to see you outside of school for a while
Scarlett: Oh...that's nice.
Boy: Yeah...

They order some teas and start to chat.

Andy finds Daz leaning against a fence.

Andy: You alright?
Daz: Yeah I'm fine
Andy: What were you talking to Katie about?
Daz: Not much...
Andy: Didn't realise you still talked to her...
Daz: Just because she's not a part of our family doesn't mean I don't want to still be her friend because that's more than you've been to her considering your affair with Jo.
Andy: Daz! That's not fair.
Daz: No, how you treated Katie isn't fair

Scarlett and the boy known as Michael finish their teas and head outside. As they walk down the street Michael stops and Scarlett turns round to face him.

Michael: I'm sorry
Scarlett: Wha-?

A cloaked figure grabs her from behind covering her mouth and despite her struggling, drags her towards a car. To Scarlett's horror Michael opens the door for her and Scarlett finds herself shoved into the back seat and the door shut behind her. She looks up and out of the back seat to see Michael walking away holding a brown packet full of cash. She looks in the front where the figure is getting in and falls back against the back of the seat as the car starts and roars into action and speeds off down the road. Scarlett looks back at the village horrified.

Scarlett: HELP!

The car pulls up to a dark mansion and Scarlett hears the door being thrown open and someone pulling her out of the car before slamming the door behind her. The figure is behind her, pushing her forwards so she can't see who's doing this to her.

Scarlett: Who are you? What do you want from me?!

Meanwhile Andy and Jo are trying to show Daz how much they belong together. They are not having much luck.

Daz: I'm sorry to say this but you really hurt Katie
Andy: What do you think she did to me when she cheated on me with Robert?
Daz: This has been going on longer and added to which Jo can be a right snide b***h to Katie and it's not fair. Katie never cheated on you during marriage did she?
Jo: Daz...
Daz: You can't resist can you? Rubbing Katie's nose in it?
Andy: Daz...

Daz gets up and leaves. Once again that is a failed attempt at making peace. Andy and Jo both get up just as Katie walks into the cafe. They both stop to look at her and she just ignores them and orders a tea. Jo takes a deep breath and walks over to Katie.

Jo: Katie...
Katie: (turns to Jo exasperatedly) What, Jo?
Jo: I'm sorry about the fight at the pageant. I was a right cow.
Katie: Don't worry Jo, that's you in general. Besides out of all the things you've done to me you apologise for that?
Jo: Well...and...
Katie: Forget it, Jo. I don't want to hear it

Katie takes her tea to go and leaves the cafe.

Meanwhile the Kings are meeting Carrie at the picnic. Since Scarlett didn't show up with her she assumed she would be coming with the Kings.

Carrie: Afternoon boys!

She notices that Scarlett isn't with them.

Carrie: Where's Scarlett?
Jimmy: Is she not here?
Carrie: I thought she was coming with you
Carl: We thought she'd be coming with you. You're her mother
Carrie: Well if she's not with me or with you lot where is she?
Matthew: (takes out his phone) Why don't I call her?

He rings her and elsewhere Scarlett answers her phone.

Scarlett: Hello?
Matthew: Scarlett, it's Matthew, where are you?
Scarlett: I don't know
Matthew: What do you mean you don't know? What've you done?
Scarlett: I haven't done anything this person just -

The figure snatches the phone

Scarlett: Give me that back! Let go of me!

The figure drops the phone and smashes it beneath their feet. Elsewhere Matthew hears the operator's voice

Operator: This phone is no longer in service

Matthew looks worried.

Carrie: What's wrong?
Matthew: Well by the sound of things Scarlett's in trouble. She doesn't know where she is, someone's got hold of her and they've just taken and seem to have destroyed her phone.
Carrie: My daughter! Oh My God! She's been kidnapped!
Jimmy: Calm down Carrie! We're going to get her back!
Carl: Shall we call the police?
Matthew: You do that, return to Home Farm, Jimmy, go with Carrie. I'm going to have a talk with Rosemary.
Carrie: Why Rosemary?
Matthew: She's forever trying to get at us and she knows we're getting closer to Scarlett. I wouldn't put her past getting Grayson to snatch Scarlett. Whatever her plan is, we're going to foil it.
