I have read today that Jimmy Harkishan (Dev) is about to be fired because of pictures turning up in the Sunday press showing him taking drugs in a club !!..when will these people learn..never wash ur dirty linen in public !!!....watch this space  |

I see he had a repreive then ..promising to get help for his 'problems'...no such leniency was shown with Jennifer Moss (Lucille Hewitt) in 1974 when she was sacked for a drink problem,after being loyal to the show for 14 years

There are pics in todays papers of Dev filming his last scenes for Corrie..before leaving for several months to 'sort out' his problems...the scenes are to be shown in February

I hope he can get the help he needs.
Dev has never been a favourite of mine, so if he did get fired, I wouldn't miss him.

He's not getting fired! He handed his notice in on late 2003 and said he was leaving by the end of 2004, and as he has just finished filming his final scenes that is ovbiously this is the case, it was bcoz he couldn't cope with the "fame". His exact words he said were "It's like living in a fish bowl." Or something like that so I knew he was leaving ages ago and good riddence as he is 1 of the worst actors I have EVER seen in my life. Does this mean that Sunita is leaving also? As, I was talking 2 some people and they seem 2 think that this is the case.

I thought that quit rumour was he would at some point, maybe 2005 or 2006. Anyway, besides getting help for his drug problem, he also needs it for his women one. He was pictured in the paper again last weekend in the car of yet another one!

I can't wait until he leaves. I heard rumours that Dev was going back 2 India and taking Sunita with him... But, i dont know that for sure... |
