I remember when Sean turned up Todd telling him 2 c about renting about his old place above the bookies, which was owned by a guy called Phil, but that was it! It's the same with the chippy i mean u never c any1 inside it do u? I know its a soap but it has 2 b realistic! |

LOL! Good points about the bookies and chippy. They should never have really copied EE by havong everything so close together. It was better separated then the lazy residents had further to go for their chips, paper and to see a doctor. If I was in charge of Corrie, apart from reducing the number of eps, I'd raze Rosamund Street and Victoria Street (notice they have a market in Victoria Street?) and scatter the businesses again.

Yeah, but I mean it is a soap after all so there is just a certain level of realism... I mean, in my street 4 example we have a wee shop a 5 min walk away then 1 pretty simliar about 10-15 mins away i mean we dont have a chippy on our door step! Or a pub on our corner! LOL.

That would be good though. Where I am, the medical centre is 10-15 mins walk away as are a few shops, my dentist 10 mins away (they don't go to any in Weatherfield I notice), a pub opposite that. While the chippy is 15 mins walk away in the opposite direction with a few shops and even a butcher and greengrocer.

That's good Blanche you have so many things so near. Most places like hardware, clothes, bookshop, Boots is 20 mins away. We used to have a haberdasher's opposite our medical centre and a frozen food place like Iceland but now they're both Blockbuster.
