This afternoon Emmerdale.org has received news regarding Kate Ford fron an
official Coronation Street spokeswoman :-
"Kate Ford is contracted until November and has no plans to leave any earlier."

Well at least she is leaving this year! That is something to look forward to. It could be worse-they could have signed her for a few more years.

LOL! I don't think she will sign again. Don't you think it was funny though that 2 days after that Kids special where Anne Kirkbride said how much she missed Dawn and loved her, it was in the Sun how Kate was 'quitting'? We already knew a month earlier this was her last contract so it was a bit pointless. I think she's trying to save face. After all, apparently she said "Yuk" at the mention of Bill Roache at some award thing. I never saw it but heard about it. Maybe there's disharmony on set. Though really she should have gone long before now.
