I actually quite like him. I think that Thomas Craig is actually quite a good actor, the only problem is that he doesn't really get the chance 2 show it I mean he keeps getting really s**t storylines so wot do u expect? I hate all this that every1's saying about the Harris family they r all quite good actors it's not their fault that the writers r giving them dire stuff is it? It's really hard trying 2 make the good of a crap script! I think every1 should cut them some slack!!!

I wasn't critisizing Thomas Craig...I was just saying I don't like the character of Tommy Harris...it would have been good to let the writers explore the side of him which expalins why he is so aggresive..but they won't have time now he is going to be killed !!!

The main problem was they were overhyped to start with and the seige was a bunch of nothing. They've never really done anything except have storylines involving one of the parents being accused of stealing at work. I'm starting to enjoy Tommy and Angela more now than I was before. But I don't think it's really anything to do with working or not working. If you look at who's been axed since Tony Wood came along you'll see it's all those created under Kieran Roberts. And, with the exception of Bev (who maybe they'll turn normal again from a desperate nympho), none are coming back.

Yeah, i suppose... But, it really annoys me when brilliant families with a lot of potential of great storylines r simply wasted!

This storyline does seem way over the top!! Murder and suicide? Give me the old Corrie comedy anytime.
It will be interesting to see who buys the house once the Harris family is gone. Will it be new people and if so, it will be interesting to see their storylines.

It's daft im getting really fed up with these daft storylines, can we please have some realism? I do wonder if they will bring any1 new in...

But not the EE route of realism - i.e. shoving issues down your throat which people forget anyway and filled with comic gangsters who are about as tough as jelly.
I remember when it was 3 times a week and everyone got a fair crack at screen time. Now they bring in these new people and so many get wasted. Things like Derek and Mave talking (or arguing in Derek's case) over the garden fence with Des Barnes was enjoyable. Don't get that sort of thing now. There's too many eps and characters and not enough storylines and screentime just doing humdrum things and chatting to neighbours to go around. It was definitely better before it went 4 times and 5 is ridiculous.

I'm wondering if The Websters will buy the house..Sally is always going on about getting a bigger house..it has 3 bedrooms..Kevin will want to stay handy for work..and they can't move out of the street because they will be chased down the street by a big bubble that floats up from the red rec duck pond (I am not a number I am a free man)

Yeah, i totally agree with u there Rita... I mean, there's no normality 2 it any more and as Nick said earlier they r neglecting so many brilliant characters and we r getting subjected 2 Sally having an affair! Now, where have we heard that 1 b4?

I actually like Tommy too - the actors plays the role well. He is a lot less annoying than Martin Platt!

Yeah I know. I mean, wot a crap storyline Katy killing her dad then committing suicide i mean come on it's hardly the kind of thing u wanna watch is it? Where did you get this information from? How much of it do you know is true? They said that Bev Unwin was gonna comit suicide, they said that Dicky Hillman was going to kill the whole Platt family, Sorry but things aren't always as they say they will be

Yeah, i know that we were all talking about that in some other topic, but Katy does kill her dad and the whole suidice thing we r quite sure about. I got the information from ITV soaps, press releases and mags such All About Soap.

Its a shame that they've decided to choose suicide for Katy's exit storyline. I've never thought she was a good actress, compared to Tina Obrian and Samia Ghadie shes really wooden. I really thought Karen was goona have suicide as her coming out storyline, I really think that corrie owed Suranne Jones more of an exit storyline then just a taxie.

They certainly wouldn't kill Karen off..she was far too popular and theres always a chance she may go back...as for Lucy Jo Hudson (Katy)..I think she is a good actress, and I think its a shame she's going

I do not like the idea of a suicide storyline either. At least when they leave in the taxi, there is always the hope that they will be back on the Street again!!

good point, and I don't think its very good of Corrie to promote suicide considering the suicide rate in many young girls, like Katy.

As, wot do they say a soap as twice the impact on the British public than any government message. As, i remember after the whole Alma storyline, the rate of people going 2 get tested 4 cancer rose by something like 300% which is astonishing. It makes u think...

Yeah, i totally agree with u there, ive also never liked the character Martin and like Helen Worth i think Sean Wilson is an a very poor and wooden actor.

I dont mind Sean Wilson's acting, its just I find the character to be very boring and irritating. I used to find Kevin irritating too but now he is quite a good character.

Yea, i totally agree wi u there about the whole Martin thing, but its the same story with a character when they have been there 4 that long... I mean wot on earth is Bill Roache still doing in Corrie? I think he is an appalling actor and ken is a very dull, boring and irrating character. He's just simply in it, coz they cant get rid of him, coz he's the only one who has been in Corrie since the beginning!
