There's more action from Summer Bay's premier love rhombus when Sally has a pop at Jesse. He clearly still loves Leah, so why is he moving out? Jesse replies that love's just not enough sometimes. He tells Leah, that, as she couldn't tell him the truth, he'll be leaving forthwith. And later, Sally rubs Leah up the wrong way when she boasts that she and Flynn are moving on in their relationship: she realises that nothing happened between them. Leah is tearful and confused. If nothing happened, how come she's losing Jesse? The man in question later assures Scott that he's not just playing games, and despite Leah's last-ditch effort to convince Jesse to stay - for VJ's sake - he's made up his mind. As he picks up the last of his belongings, Leah tells her brand new ex that she still loves him, and doesn't want to lose him. But it's too late, as far as he's concerned...
Evil twin
Beth expresses surprise at how much she liked Val. She claims that meeting Val allowed her to see another side of Jack, but Rhys still refuses to rent a caravan to the woman. An angry Matilda decides that Jack couldn't be her father because Beth would surely have better taste than to sleep with him. She thinks that someone else could be her real dad! Rhys, perhaps? Knowing his track record, it certainly wouldn't surprise us. Max spins out and Rhys begins to bark, sending Matilda into tears. In her heart, she knows that Jack is her father; she just can't understand why he did what he did. Later, Matilda apologises to Beth for implying that she also slept around during her marriage. There'll be no Yo Momma jokes at the caravan park for a while...
A deal's a deal... or is it?
Some people just can't stick to their side of the bargain, can they? Hyde accuses Kim of going back on his word, as he's still not got back into serious swim training. However, Kim replies that his dad's part of the deal was a washout, so he owes him nothing. Noah tells Kim that he's cutting off his nose to spite his face; he could be an olympic swimmer if he set his mind to it! They make a pact, with Jesse agreeing to start training Kim seriously from then on. Later, Kim accidentally snubs Matilda at school, leaving our real-life Bratz doll in tears. Hilariously, Hyde chides her for talking too loudly, but Max springs to her defence. Hyde is impressed by Max's eloquence, but it's not his headmaster's approval that Max is seeking! A slow smile spreads across his face when Matilda thanks him for sticking up for her. But Kim ends up wearing a very different expression when Hyde announces that he's bringing Brooke to the Bay...
