Today’s episode was regarding the shock visitor’s to the Sutherlands, and their equally shocking news they brought with them- the Twins were actually switched at birth, and so one of them weren’t a Sutherland at all. It turned out that poor Jade, the usually mature and mild one was actually someone else’s daughter! Kirsty’s ‘real’ twin was actually Laura who was identical to her. It took a lot of getting used to, and so the rest of the episode regarding the future parties of Robbie and Hayley’s were pale in comparison.
I thought this episode was brilliant, something that I certainly wasn’t prepared for but thoroughly enjoyed never the less. I actually cried as I thought it was so emotional and delved deep in to how this would affect families and what it can do to them. Christie Givens, who plays Kirsty has been given the task of playing Laura too (Obviously!) and I think she has risen to the challenge well.
