The true identity of Noah's father is revealed after a shock event places Kim's life in danger. Rushed into hospital after being hit by a car, Kim undergoes emergency surgery. Hayley feels responsible for what has happened to Kim. Soon after Kim is brought out of surgery, however, a nurse at the hospital makes a startling discovery. Pulling up Kim's file, she realises Kim cannot be Noah's father.
Checking the computer records, Flynn sees the father's name has been deleted from the paternity results. He then discovers that Amanda was involved.
Amanda admits that she found out Scott is Noah's father some while ago, but kept this to herself because she was so hurt when he left her for Hayley.
Flynn breaks the news to Hayley, Scott and Kim - now out of surgery but still in serious condition.
Scott is outraged when he learns Amanda hid the news from him, and swears to never forgive her, but is overjoyed at having a family of his own.
