About 4 years ago I met Roger Oakley who played Tom Fletcher in a local pub in Brighton..I went over to say hello..he was with a male friend..he seemed like a nice chap

He said he was just on holiday and was amazed anyone knew him and did I recognize him from the repeats on UK Gold or whatever it was..I said no..I remember when he was in it properly as I watched it then......and the shock of Tom's death sent poor Pippa into such a frenzy she went from a short,dumpy blonde to a willowy brunette overnight...well we laughed
and I'm not one to gossip..so don't tell anyone Pats...it was a gay pub !!!!!
