Barry and Irene

I am so glad these two have finished, I didn't think they were right for each other. Great characters, and this relationship has brought Barry 'out in a different light' I think, but I I thought it brought the worse out in Irene.

I liked Irene and Barry as a couple.
They still seem to be very friendly though.

Yes, they do seem to be friendly, I noticed at Pete's leaving do, just before Kim spoke to his Dad, Irene gave him a kiss on the cheek before Barry himself walked away. That's good they can remain friends.

As for your input Jez, I think Barry's relationship with Irene opened up a 'different light' to him, and we have seen him in other setting as well rather than just school. I just thought that the characters are really good characters thought not to be in a relationship together, it made Irene nasty too, (I am referring to Beth!)

Irene has always been somewhat volatile, light the blue touchpaper and stand well clear. ;D

I agree with Irene though, she always goes off at the deep end, look at the way she hit Diana!

Exactly. She and Beth were friends and still are now that her and Barry finished, look at the single's night, yet when Irene was with Barry she was really horrid to Beth.

ANd yes, although Diana deserved it , look at what happened there.

Maybe the coast will be clear now for Barry and Beth.
