Is Kim right to act the way he is doing?

I understand Kim’s determination and want to find his Mum, but I think he is actually going around it the wrong way.

Even though it is obvious that Barry is hiding something, whether that is right or wrong, Kim has to understand, I think, that it must have been hard for his Dad after what happened to Johnathon and his marriage to Kerry, given the fact that she also had an affair with this Tom Anderson man, and should respect that. He was totally wrong in my opinion to steal his mum’s journal and also refuse to give it back to his father when he had asked for it. It wasn’t his to keep, and I wasn’t sure whether he should have been reading out such private stuff infront of Irene, Hayley and Morag.

I have done all this poll as I would like others to tell me what they thought about Kim taking the journal and pressing his father for details of his mother, and whether they also thought that Kim had in fact gone too far?

Also rather than be repetitive and write our thoughts here, I would appreciate it if you could post your thoughts on the Spoilers on Barry and Kim section, it is just that since starting up that section I thought it would be interesting to see what people thought of Kim’s actions.
