I am sure most people will agree with me when I say this is not just a brilliant storyline, but Lynne McGranger who plays her is doing it brilliantly.

Poor Irene. But it must be great for the actress to have such a meaty plotline

I caught quite a bit of this storyline over the past few weeks and loved it. Lynne McGranger did a brilliant job. The only fault I did have was that Martha and Corey's conclusion happened too fast. She was on the phone to Jack, who seemed miles off, and then Corey caught her. She ran and then next thing Jack is there!

Right, in regard to what you wrote Eithne, I have to say, that the part that really annoyed me and was very far fetched and unbelievable was when Kack and Hayley was trying to ring the hospital and could not get through, and they were far off getting there, by Jacks own admission, and just as Irene was about to bite into the chocolate, low and behold in raced Jack! Come one H&A, don't blow all the good storylines now! That was a bit much!
