I thought Keith Duffy left because he wanted to be with his wife and young family back in Dublin, he wasn't axed? He had to turn down a part in an Irish TV drama because of his role in Corrie as well it said.
I'm sort of surprised at Warren Baldwin going.

Keith Duffy hasn't been axed, he has decided to quit the show. I'm not surprised about Warren as I think the Candice and Warren acting like Posh 'n' Becks is silly.  |

Ok ok..its fair cop guvnor..maybe Keith hasn't been axed..i was just practising to be a Corrie scriptwriter and spicing it up a bit....I thought the Warren/Candice aping Posh n becks was quite comical.....

Yeah, Keith Duffy, said ages ago that he wasn't renewing his contract. Im not really that suprised @ Danny Young, leaving i am just surprised @ him leaving soooo soon. How when exactly is he supposed 2 b leaving? |

Keith has been great IMO. Warren has always annoyed me I think the girl who plays Bethany Platt's a better actress! He can barely talk!!!

I dont mind Ciaran and Warren, but they will be no great loss to the programme.

It is amazing that so many people who slagged off Keith Duffy back when he started now don't mind him, don't you all think?
The whole Weatherfield "Poch n' Becks" has actually been very funny. And Warren hasn't really had a big, major storyline yet so it'll be interesting to see how he goes, especially with the Danny story coming up soon.

I agree the 'Posh and becks' story is quite good.after all the real Posh & Becks had to start somewhere..I think they should give warren longer to develop

Yea, it is quite odd. I think that all of the new Baldwin clan need a chance and a good storyline. I mean the only real stoyline 4 them was the Vinnie thing, which Warren wasn't even involved in! All Danny does is work @ the factory, Frankie works @ the cafe, talks 2 Vera and screams @ Leanne, Jamie works @ the factory and goes out with Leanne and Warren just 'plays' football and goes out with Candice!

LOL Nick! Yes, that's what the writers (or press office) would do. They like adding spice to things. I agree with Bruno about Nikki. Her and Tina get on my nerves, especially when they're shouting and they lean forward. I also agree with Rose about the Posh and Becks. It's ridiculous. My guess is Warren will go when the transfer window is open and with luck "Candy" will go with him. As for Keith Duffy, I didn't like him at first. Thought he was very wooden. But over the past year he's improved greatly, especially when he had the restaurant storyline and I'll miss him when he goes. Just goes to show even someone with no acting experience can improve. Certain trained actors take note! Patsy |
