Barry Hyde - the killer

Well, the secret is now out! What are your views?? I figured out who it was a while back, when they were referring to the development and the look on Barry's face when he said he was going to confront Josh on what will happen to the school.

Then when it was announced at the opening that Josh had been found murdered, I watched Barry's face and his expression was different and then when they were all sat in the diner and Mattie said now Josh was dead the development would not go ahead, again the expression on Barry's face.

I am sad that he/Ivar will be leaving, though I guess it's different that it is a character like Barry that has done it.

His motives were quite... I don't know? Interesting? The storyline of his wife continued.

I knew all along it was him who did it but didnt realise what his motive was!

Great minds think alike eh Jez? I knew it was him through the school, but didn't know it would have something to do with his wife as well.

So I guess that is the last we will see of Barry. A shame the character left in unhappy circumstances.

I'm really sad at this storyline.
Barry was one of my favourite characters and I though he and Irene made a great couple.
Was it his idea to leave ??

Do you know something - I do not know whether it was Ivar Kants decision to go or not. Every interview given regarding the storyline has been Chris Hemsworth (Kim) giving it.

I must say it has been sad to see him go, though I disagree with you Sooty regarding him and Irene making a great couple (Sorry!) I tell you who I thought suited him - Morag! I noticed a scene in the station when he was being transferred to the city and he was talking to Morag and I thought, Yes these two wouldl make a great couple, he could pr was rather icy when he first came into the show, but they just looked 'right' for each other.

I agree Sharon, Morag and Barry would suit each other. Its about time Morag has a bit of romance!
