Now I am having real problems at the moment with this new channel, so any help will be appreciated.
I have Digital Tv, but my DVD has Freeserve built in. Now, I tuned in for this Freeserve 36 to no avail, but when I tried on the Digital TV guide it was on 800, but I can only get that at the moment through the channel I watch my DVD's through. ANy ideas?
Actually I think I willl start a thread for this after all.

LOL Right, I have Freeview and I think that is via the DVD, but on my Tv, I have what I call 2 Tv's (!) 'normal' Tv as I call it i.e BBC1,2,3 and Itv3, Channel4 and 5, and then I 'switch' a button and I get Digital TV, which has all the normal channels and then others like ITV 2 etc. Do you understand me? I don't mean that to sound offensive, so don't take it that way, but sometimes if you write something, it sounds offensive, when it is not intended that way at all.

I know what you mean Sharon!
I guess Five Life will be there if you have freeview - no idea what the number is as I dont have it, but why dont you look on Five's website. It should say there.

Yes, thanks to you both for that. I tried to reboot the DVD, as sometimes it will tell you if there is new channels to add, so I did that, but it is under 800 on the DVD and I can only get it at the moment, if I put the DVD on and put 800 on it that way.
I am wondering if there is another way of doing it, but am not sure, and do not want to mess around with the channels and bugger things up.!
Yes, that is a good idea Jez, I think I will do that, check 5's website.

LOL I know how you feel Sharon. Im always reluctant to mess around with equipment like the tv and computer incase I mess them up! Oh Jez, I am terrible! I really am, yesterday I was in a mood where I was just doodling and I have just put Office XP on my lap top, and my sis has her emails coming through via Microsoft outlook and I have them via Outlook express, and I was doodling, and somwhere along the line I have them both set up, now this morning MO won't work! I hate it when I cannot fathom out how to do things like that and get so stressed. They reckon you cannot break a comp, and that THEY do as YOU say, but sometimes I think they do want THEY want! As for the TV, it was bothering me so much, I have got the TV mag out and checked the settings for Five Life and then it occured to me that we have the channel ITV 2 set on on Freeserve on the TV so surely we can get Five Life? Anyway I have rung my other half up at work to tell him what I think should happen, like tune it in, and he agrees (Horrayy got something right LOL) he reckons, all I need to do is find a free channel on the TV and then find Five Life and tune it in. Out ITV4 is not on the channel suggested in the Tv book, so Five Life need not either. So all I need to do now is pluck up the courage and give it a go! Maybe later....LOL. I will let you know how I fare - fingers crossed!

Good luck with it, Sharon! Guess what? I have cracked it!!! I decided to give it a try as it was annoying me and i was curious, so I decided to have ago and when I pressed the automatic button and it said other settings would be changed, my heart thumped! But it worked perfectly and sure enough on Channel 35 is Five Life (Or the other way round!) Trouble is for taping Five Life it is still on 800 on the DVD, so I am presuming that is normal. I pretended to 'time' Five Life and when I entered Channel 800 the word Five Life came up, so I am not sure whether if I 'fiddle' about abit I will get eventually 36 on the DVD for FL or whether I should just leave it, as that is the way it is meant to be? May as well leave it probably, as the Tv is ok now. Chuffed to bits though, though like my other half says, you have to believe you can do it, I guess it is just confidence, and that is something I don't have an awful lot of. I have a Q for you, Jez, if we do reviews which we do, if we do one for the ep that comes on at 6.30 straight after the other one, what do we class that as? I ask as I got so confused at what I had watched the other day, that I wasn't sure which ep the ep on Five Life was for i.e the day. I have done the reviews, but got totally confused at what day I was on! I have got a feeling that the one we watched last night was Monday's ep, which I know it was, but am not sure when to do that for, I guess do it for Mon. Does any of that make sense LOL

Glad you got it sorted Sharon.
As for reviews well I think we should do the reviews for the day they are on FIVE as this will avoid confusion. However if we do post about something we see on an ep that has been on FIVE life we really should mark it as a spoiler for those who only watch on Five.

Yeah, that sounds right to me as well. As i have said before, not everyone has digital etc, or indeed they do not wish to see the ep scheduled for the next day shown at 6.30 for a number of reasons, ie they don't want too, or they want to see the news, so yeah, that is a good idea. I will just have to remember what the day is for the ep! The other night, I got so confused I watched it again the following day so I knew where I was coming from! The helicopter ep is for Monday, am I right?

Yeah, it was ok, though I thought Rachel's attitude towards Kim in the helicopter and even his help with her with her mum's death was really surprising. Well, I guess it is up to each individual when they wish to see it, isn't it?
