I saw a list of the top 100 programmes in Australia.
20. Home And Away with 1,251,000 viwers.
80. Neighbours with 793,000.
Quite a difference between them isn't there.

Yes. H&A follows Neighbours on the other side so they must either hate Neighbours or watch the news on 7 then H&A.

Home and Away is far far superior to Neighbours. The only reason Home and Away doesnt do that well here is because its on Five which generally gets lower audiences compaired to ITV, BBC and C4.

Yep. Though with more people getting Sky they can pick it up. I also wonder how many just gave up when it moved over and haven't gone back?

Patsy Its a shame if thats whats happening because they are missing an excellent programme..I much prefer it to Neighbours..I must admit to recording H & A when I was in OZ this year...(the only soap I did record)..took me 2 days to catch up..but I did enjoy it. I didnt watch it over there..just caught 1 episode of each show..too much else going on. ;D

I know what you mean gingercat - when I go away in a few weeks I will only be recording Corrie and the soap awards as everything else I watch will be too much to catch up on.

Bad enough trying to catch up after a weekend away let alone any longer.

Exactly. Thats why I will tape Corrie and the soapies so I can hopefully catch with them on the Wednesday after I get back.
