Former Home and Away actor Dieter Brummer has been charged with drink driving, say reports in Australia.
Brummer recorded a blood alcohol limit of 0.125 near his home in the eastern suburbs of Sydney at 2.40am, in August.
The actor, who played the character Shane Parrish between 1992 and 1996, will stand before Sydney's Waverley Local Court next Monday.
The mother of the arrested star reportedly told a local radio station that Brummer had taken up a career as a window cleaner.
The soap star won two prestigious Logie awards for his performances in the popular Aussie drama, where he starred alongside Melissa George, who has gone on to achieve success in Hollywood.
