Week Beginning Monday, August 14 2006 Monday, August 14 2006Robert sets Izzy up for a big fall. Taping a number of her conversations on his MP3 player, Robert re-edits them to make it appear that Izzy has feelings for ‘Cam’. Elle is horrified when she hears the recording and decides it’s time Izzy was brought to account. Is Paul’s world about to collapse? Katya continues to be confused by ‘Cam’s’ hot and cold attitude – in truth, Robert is having trouble supplying the intimacy she craves, fearful of the emotions it stirs up inside him. When Katya initiates closeness, Robert manipulates her cruelly, implying that her past makes it hard for him to be with her. After seeing Mishka amongst her fellow countrymen at the local Russian Club, Lou swells with a newfound love and respect for her. But when Lou and Mishka’s Russian mates appear at the General Store to kick on, Harold feels on the outer. Is Mishka freezing out Harold? Sky and Elle are having a tough time making inroads at their new telemarketing jobs. Elle is bawled out by her boss whilst Sky struggles to make a sale. Tuesday, August 15 2006Izzy pleads her innocence but Paul will have none of it; it’s time for Izzy to pack her bags and get out. Paul is wracked with guilt for doubting his kids and suggests that he’s not fit to father them – he wants Elle and ‘Cam’ to move back home with Gail. Convinced Elle has set her up, it’s only when Izzy hears the “evidence” of her attempted seduction that she realizes who her real enemy is: ‘Cam’. After Robert’s cruel outburst at Katya, Robert is consumed with regret and blames it on his experience with Izzy. Taken in, Katya softens and forgives ‘Cam’. Karl slips further into his role as father figure to Zeke, which brings Susan and Karl ever closer. Carmella shows up at Number Thirty, announcing that she’d like to take Connor up on his offer of time out of the convent. Connor’s only too happy to give her the space to re-assess her decision to join the church, but how will they relate now that so much water has passed under the bridge? Not comprehending the seriousness of Carmella’s decision, Toadie sees it as a sexy challenge for Connor. It’s a battle between Connor and God – the prize: Carmella’s soul! Wednesday, August 16 2006Kim confesses the DVD scam to Janelle – including Dylan’s deepening involvement. Janelle’s appalled and swears she’ll never forgive Kim if Dylan winds up back in jail. Kim makes a last ditch effort to pull Dylan out of the business but Dylan’s having none of it and a fiery confrontation ensues. Karl spreads himself too thin when he tries to attend Jenny’s pre-selection party and Zeke’s footy pie night. Susan lets Karl have it, accusing him of being unreliable. But is her frustration purely about Zeke’s disappointment - or more to do with her own burgeoning feelings for Karl? Sensing Connor and Carmella’s awkwardness, Toadie suggests they let loose and party it up. They put their dancing shoes on and head out to a nightclub where Carmella initiates a kiss – could a re-kindled romance with Connor make her re-assess her commitment to the church? Bree’s ‘Boy in the Bubble’ scam is discovered and her publisher is less than happy. Bree is sentenced to the literary equivalent of ‘community service’. With one week to go before the wedding Janelle has turned into ‘Bridezilla’ – she’s determined that nothing, but nothing will spoil her big day. Thursday, August 17 2006Dylan comes close to hitting his father in order to get to the illegal job. It’s enough to make him look at himself and he finally breaks down over Sky’s betrayal. Both men decide to turn over a new leaf. Kim announces this to his family, while promising Janelle that he will still endeavour to give her the wedding she deserves. When Janelle is quiet, the whole family assumes she’s sulking. However, when the wedding fund is stolen, Janelle shocks everyone by admitting it was she who took it. She put down a deposit for a home in Paradise Lakes. Stingray discovers that Rachel is dating a new guy, whom he suspects is untrustworthy. He finally broaches the matter with Rachel, who accuses him of wanting the best of both worlds. Stingray is frustrated that, due to his troubles with Rachel, his valid point will never be heard. In an effort to make Janae and Boyd realise what they’re getting into, Max offers to let them live together. He and the Timmins parents are sure that once they’ve spent concentrated time together the young couple will run a mile from marriage. Lou promises Harold to tell Mishka the truth about who owns the house. Under pressure, Lou sugar coats the truth claiming that Harold won the house at cards. Lou is hoist on his own petard, however, when Mishka calls for a card playing re-match. Friday, August 18 2006When Cassie the sheep falls ill, Karl rushes to Susan’s side to provide support, and the pair revels in family memories. Cassie stands as a symbol of Karl and Susan’s marriage but ironically it is her death that brings them closer than they’ve been in a long time. The neighbourhood gathers to mark Cassie’s passing and Susan and Karl’s new bond doesn’t go unnoticed. Lyn confronts her friend – is Susan falling for Karl again? Lyn senses that Paul’s bluster is a cry for help and he gratefully unloads about Izzy’s betrayal. Lyn urges Paul to see his newly single state as a positive – now he can concentrate on being a good dad, and perhaps find a woman who will bring out the best in him. Is Lyn hoping this woman might be her? Much to Stingray and Harold’s delight, Sky reclaims both her old look and the contented sense of self that went along with it. Boyd and Janae suppress their minor disagreements and play lovey-dovey just to rile Max. Steph cottons on to the ruse and urges the young couple to take Max’s challenge seriously – he only wants the best for both of them. Fighting her feelings for Stingray, Rachel vows to move on with a new guy – and even become a new person if need be. Stingray’s film is about a monster that can’t be vanquished – could this be a metaphor for his feelings about Rachel?
Carmella's a nun now? Wow! You can tell I haven't watched Neighbour's in a while!

It takes some quick thinking on Angie’s behalf to avoid disaster and make sure Janelle’s not let down on her special day. Finally the wedding ceremony gets underway – but little do they know that Steiger has come looking for Kim at home, armed with a warrant for his arrest over the DVD pirating business. Max feels he knows best, however, and threatens to cut Boyd off if he doesn’t renege on his decision to marry Janae.
When Rachel shows a lack of enthusiasm towards her new date, Garrett, and makes it clear she’d rather be going out with Stingray, Susan talks her into giving Garrett a proper chance. The date goes well and while Rachel doesn’t find Garrett as stimulating company as Stingray, she can’t deny she enjoyed herself.

When the police uncover evidence that Kim wasn’t acting alone, the net tightens around Dylan. Terrified of seeing her boy behind bars again, Janelle claims she was the mastermind behind the ring.
Rocked by Max’s ultimatum, Janae appeals to her mum to let Boyd stay. Reeling from her own wedding day fiasco, Janelle refuses. Janae pushes and Janelle snaps, throwing Janae and Boyd out of the house. In desperation they appeal to Ned and he agrees to let them stay temporarily at Number Thirty. Monday, September 4 2006
Sky scoffs at the suggestion she may be pregnant. She’s been careful every time so it’s impossible. But she’s secretly rattled by Mishka’s comment and takes a home pregnancy test to be sure. She’s relieved when it comes up negative – she’s got no room in her life at the moment for a baby. But a chance accident leaves Sky feeling unwell and Lou and Mishka take her to the hospital for a check-up. Tests confirm Mishka’s right – Sky is indeed several weeks pregnant. Pressured by Mishka to tell the father, a distressed Sky’s forced to admit she’s not sure who the father is.
Floating on cloud nine, Stingray and Rachel crash to earth with a jolt – how to keep their relationship a secret from eagle-eyed Susan? They stage a public argument to put her off the scent. Seemingly fooled, wily Susan makes a comment to Stingray indicating she’s on to them. Spooked by Susan’s uncanny intuition, Stingray and Rachel begin to see each other in the dead of the night when Susan’s asleep. But how long can they keep their relationship a secret?
Mishka hatches a plan for Lou to thwart a “burglary”, designed to prove to Harold how indispensable Lou is around the home. Lou reluctantly agrees to the plan. With Sky as witness, he sends the “burglar” packing, only to discover the intruder wasn’t Mishka’s friend but the real McCoy. Lou freaks, until he realises he’s truly a hero!
Toadie continues to shamelessly milk his role as Boyd and Janae’s landlord, accepting money from both Max and Boyd. But his juvenile antics are wearing thin for his teenage boarders – Boyd and Janae seem downright mature by comparison.
Tuesday, September 5 2006
Paul is thrown when Gail arrives to share the fallout from Cameron’s supposed breakdown. After a rocky start they find common ground as they process the shocking reality that their son is a psychotic murderer. Izzy feels sidelined as the family close ranks. But when Gail expresses doubts about Cameron’s guilt after an emotional meeting, Izzy is unable to hold her tongue. She accuses Gail of being in denial because it’s better than facing the truth - that she failed as mother, because she was unable to read the signs.
Sky reels after having her pregnancy confirmed and Lou and Mishka become confidants. Off their urging she contacts J.P. And discovered there’s no way he can be the father, which leaves Dylan as the only possibility. But after a harsh rebuff from Dylan Sky determines to ‘deal with’ the issue herself.
When Boyd’s academic success is threatened by Toadie’s juvenile antics, Janae decides it’s time they left Number Thirty. It’s either that or stick around and let Toadie drag them down. The only problem is finances and Janae hatches a scheme, becoming the star of her very own weblog – ‘myfouhousemates.com’.
The victim of a typical ‘House of Trouser’ prank sees Boyd awake with various implements glued to his body. Comedy arises as a thoroughly unamused Janae is forced to enlist Dylan's help to get Boyd to his exam on time.
Wednesday, September 6 2006
With everyone convinced that Cameron is the psychotic twin, Robert ‘wakes’ from his coma. After re-establishing his bond with Gail, Robert makes mileage out of the years Elle spent persecuting him. Contrite, she becomes steadily angrier with the supposedly deceitful Cameron. But Robert’s attraction to Katya is unbowed and he commiserates with her – they’ve both been victims of Cameron’s evil plot. Katya is taken in by his sincere performance – will she be drawn back into this madman’s web?
After being re-assured of her place in Paul’s life by both Max and Elle, Izzy reconciles with Gail. Izzy’s so confident that she and Paul are beyond any challenge, she invites Gail to stay at the Robinson house. Paul’s thrown and later confesses to Lyn that he may still have feelings for Gail. Has Izzy unwittingly drawn Paul back to his ex-wife?
Oscar spends the day with Ned and when it comes time to leave, shows signs of becoming a little too attached. Ned confesses to Karl that he believes Lyn is putting her career before her relationship with her son.

Thursday, September 7 2006
Katya is unnerved as she faces questions from police concerning her involvement with ‘Cameron’. She tries to explain that the relationship ended and she had no knowledge of his crimes. But when she’s informed of Sean Dempster’s disappearance she fears the worst. The man was trying to use her past against her and ‘Cameron’ promised to warn him off. Now she fears he may have done more. Toadie comes to her aid when he asks for a police warrant and Katya is so grateful she happily agrees to accompany Toadie on a picnic. Enjoying themselves, Katya gets swept up in the moment and kisses Toadie. Toadie is thrilled, but Katya realises she’s made a mistake and finds a way to stop anything further developing. She points out Toadie would never dream of taking advantage of the situation for the sake of romance and Toadie is forced to check his true feelings once again.
Covering up for Dylan, Janelle faces court over her apparent involvement in the DVD pirating. But when she receives a light fine and Janelle and Dylan riotously celebrate, both Toadie and Bree are appalled by the lack of remorse.
Bree decides to find her real parents once and for all. But when Zeke is accidentally injured by Karl’s car, she must put her quest on hold. At the hospital Susan confronts Karl for not informing her immediately about Zeke’s injury and Karl is shocked by her attack.
Friday, September 8 2006
Karl bridles at Susan’s unreasonable anger over Zeke’s accident. Old battlelines are drawn; they both take the moral high ground and bring out the worst in each other. Zeke’s confused by the hostility but canny Bree reckons Susan and Karl are falling in love again, and are simply covering for their true feelings. Zeke’s horrified and angrily accuses Karl of using him to get close to Susan. Karl honestly reassures Zeke it’s not true, but relations remain strained between ex husband and wife.
Despite Stingray’s pleas, Bree can’t give up the search for her real parents. She makes her own way to their address and is shocked to find a vacant lot – the site of a recent fire.
Janelle’s post-court celebrations fizzle when a film distribution company sues her for two hundred grand. Faced with paying up or an expensive legal battle, Janelle humbly accepts her lot and finally acknowledges that Kim won’t be coming home - she’ll have to overcome this hurdle alone.
Janelle discovers Rachel and Stingray’s secret romance but surprises the teens by being sympathetic – to a point. She offers the Scully place as a safe house for the couple… as long as there’s no hanky panky and they keep it shy of Lyn and Susan.
After a ‘Noodles’ gig, Steph introduces Ned to her lively friend Justine. It’s clear Justine’s keen on Ned, but does he know what he’s in for?
