Three top 'Neighbours' stars axed


Three of the biggest Neighbours stars have been axed in a surprise shake-up at the Aussie soap.

According to the Herald Sun, producers have decided to ditch Marisa Warrington (Sindi Watts), Kevin Harrington (David Bishop) and Marcella Russo (Lijana Bishop) in favour of fresh faces.

All three will leave the show when their current contracts expire later this year.

I wonder what will happen to Serenna?
Can`t say I`ll be be sad when Sindi leaves. I didn`t like the direction she was heading after her and Toadie split up.

Blair McDonough, who plays policeman Stuart Parker, is expected to join them of his own accord.

Casting has already begun to find a new family, who will move into Ramsay Street later this year. "Good looking new faces are high on the producer's secret shopping list," said the Herald Sun, "with previous acting experience not necessarily a requirement."

No mention of Harold !! ( It is his house. ! )

Out of the three Lil was the only one I really liked. Sindi was a good character, but then she just started to annoy me with her constant whining. And I've never really liked David that much.

When the Bishops arrived I always doubted that they'd be around for that long, not lenghts of time like the Scully's anyway. The fact that they've only one child throws up problems, as it creates a lack of storylines.

I wonder if it is true about the new family as well. Hopefully they'll be able to act and DS is wrong.

The scully family were brilliant but sadly there gone now - and we need a good new family just as good as them if not better.

My thoughts, even as a semi - rare neighbours watcher of the last 10 years:

Fairly typical of neighbours really, as long as they're young and good looking acting ability doesn't matter. They've had a long history of doing this.

As for the characters themselves, i don't watch it regularily enough to have an opinion.

I guess at lest Neighbours are being consistant.

we need a good new family just as good as them if not better.

It looks like we`ll be seeing a lot more of the Timmons family coming to Erinsborough in the future. I read that 2 more of Janelles kids will arriving soon. I don`t know when though.
Janelle is a horrible woman and makes Cilla from Corrie seem normal...almost

The way she treats that poor Dylan is dreadful, terrible woman.

I wondered how it was going to work having Serena remaining, it makes sense for her to go as well.

I hate the whole Timmons family, so I dread the thought of more coming. I just can't stand them one little bit - whatever it is. Their acting is way OTT (making Wendi Peter's look non OTT!!! ) and their characters are just irritating. I'm not sure which one I dislike more actually. I wonder what these two new kids will be like.

As for Serena going - good riddance! I have to admit I love all the secrecy involving the Bishops exit plot though. I hope it lives up to expectations.

I`m guessing Paul Robinson will be involved somehow.
He`s such a brilliant baddy, the best Neighbours have had in my opinion
