This was a hard one I think I like Gabrielle or Lynette best however I also love Susan. I don't like Bree much or Edie.

Susan I think, she is a walking disaster area. She is so funny but then I've been a Teri Hatcher fan since Lois & Clark. So glad her comic talents are now being recoginsed. They wouldn't give her awards when she was Lois Lane because it was a superhero series and no one was really ever sure what category it belonged in. Now they are bending over backwards to give her awards. I voted for Gabrielle but it was a tough one because I do really like Lynette and Susan.

I had to vote for Lynett, the character is just like me; we could even be twins!

Actually, I'm warming to Bree now.
I love this programme, Stepford Wives meets Twin Peaks.

Okay now we are two seasons in and the third season will be hitting our screens in the next 4-5 weeks where are we all at?
For me it depends on the story, the episode or the Season which one I prefer at any given time. So it is a tie between Susan & Edie, Gabby and Lynette for me. For varying reasons I find their characters either down right funny, entertaining or fascinating. Lynette is the most realistic and Gabby and Susan can be charming and funny. I also think that Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman are superb actresses for their other extensive work outside DH.
I don't like Bree. She was okay when she was with Rex but now she is just OTT and takes up too much of the main stories. Wait until you get to Season 3 it is fast becoming the Desperate Bree show as she is a key player in the upcoming season's main mystery.

Hmmm... Season One I would say that it was probably Bree or Gabby, as both were brilliant characters and extremely funny I thought. Then for Season Two I got sick of Bree and sort of moved on to Lynette for a while. I've always loved Edie and Susan though (although I tempoarily went off Susan last year when she got sickningly thin in RL. It was awful to watch).
So I've been through them all really.

I think in Season 3 it is going to be Susan, Edie and Lynette for me. In Season One it was pretty much all of them to varying degrees but I did so get sick of Bree towards the end of Season 2. When she was miss perfect you could relate to people like that in Season 1. However by the end of Season 2 she was just so OTT and unbelievable. Season 3 this trend is set to continue because she is central to the main story. Also the creator Marc Cherry is totally obsessed by her because she is based on his mother.
I find the Edie/Susan double highly amusing. Susan at times got a bit too clutsy at times in Season 2 however I think they are starting to address that now in the middle of Season 3. After all Susan can't always have been so stupid as she is supposed to be a childrens writer and illustrator. And someone had to of brought up Julie when she was a baby. I don't see Karl having been around that much back then.
As to Teri Hatcher's weight, I guess I just turn the other way, there were episodes of Lois and Clark where it was even worse I think than it is now. If that is possible?
At times I get sick of Lynette as they take the character round in circles and she can be a bit righteous. However all things considered she is a character I think we can all relate to, the most real and generally the most honest and down to earth.
Gabby is charming and funny and at times she has been my favourite however I got a little sick of her as season 2 progressed due to the stories they were giving her and there had been a bit of criticism of her stories this season.
