Season 2 starts here tomorrow night. I never did watch the show, but I have a friend who arrives from NZ tomorrow night and I have been asked to tape it for him. He can't wait.

Oohh I can't wait for it to start here, in january time, I think. I will definetly be looking at the spoilers for it tommorow then. In the 1st episode of this season, I think, you find out the new neighbours secret, about what she keeps locked up or something.

The new season isn't doing near as well as the first. The show seems to have losts its originality apparently. Well after all the success and aclaim they had when it first began it had to end sometime.

I am still laughing at Bree and the tie incident in the coffin. And what is with the shackled man.

LOL! That was funny with Bree at the funeral. She is like the ice queen though isnt she, she doesnt seem bothered that Rex has died. Its obviously an act though

I love Bree and her mother in law. I loved the comment she made about Bree.
Andrew (looking at one of his father's old adult magazines) : Wow. Dad must have really liked big breasted women. Phyliss: Yes. I have to admit I was very surprised when he decided to marry your mother.
The sequence in the church was good, but a little unfunny. I would personally be quite distressed if I had to see someone I knew being pulled out of their coffin like that.

That comment from Bree's mother in law was funny too. I thinkm we an expect more remarks like that while she is in it?
Anyone know what happens with Andrew in season 2? I heard he has a gay relationship?

Jez, apparently Andrew is going to feature prominently this season, so that should be interesting. The character is fairly good, even if evil George did get him sent away! Poor psycho Andrew!
Next week's episode will shock you though - as George murders a popular character (or at least seriously injures them!). It is very shocking.

Season Two seems a bit patchy compared to Season One.
I think that they're having real problems with Betty. Obviously, at the end of Season wOne we found out why Mary Alice had committed suicide & that Mike was Zack's father etc so Betty & her family were introduced so that they could be the "mystery element" for Season Two.
But, they don't seem to have integrated very well into Wisteria Lane at all. Aside from playing the piano at Rex's funeral & giving Susan some piano lessons she's hardly had anything to do with the other woman. And there have been two episodes so far that haven't even featured here. Maybe the writers are finding her difficult to write for?? If things don't improve with her then I think they'll write the character out fo the show altogether as, at the moment, she's not really bringing anything to the "mix".
The best bits for me so far have been Andrew's "sex conversation" with George across the dinner table. That really was laugh out loud TV! And also, Lynette dancing in the pick-up bar whilst her boss just shrank back & looked as if she wanted the ground to open her up!
Last week's episode (on E4) was, I felt, a little weak, although the stuff with Lynette & her suit & Gabrielle & the lawyer (at the courthouse) was vaguely amusing.

I agree that Betty isn't integrating well with the rest of the neigbourhood. She seems slightly older than the rest of the women - which causes problems I suppose. Edie seems to be the fifth member of the Housewives now though, so six would probably be too many. But I think we should see her growing close to some of the others.
Her son and Danielle Van de Kamp are growing closer though - so maybe there is a romance happening there. Also the whole mystery element has been revealed very quickly - hasn't it? Is it even still a mystery anymore?

The stuff with Lynette and her suit was really funny. She is the best character in it along with Bree

Can't believe that George killed Dr. Goldfine It was a bit of sloppy scritping though as it came across as if George killed him before Bree had had chance to talk to him again after the engagement. All I can say is that George must have done some very quick detective work to find out exactly what Dr. Goldfine looked like & where he took his morning jog.

And now he has torched Bree's exs car.
Be afraid Bree, be very afraid.

This gets brilliant over the next two weeks - with an amazing twist that you won't want to miss. Marcia Cross is brilliant as Bree in the next two episodes. She does a really, really long scene where she confronts George and it is truly spellbinding!
Then Andrew gets involved in a big way as well, which proves interesting.

I'm finding DH a bit "scrappy" at the moment. It's great in so many way but the whole Betty storyline just seems to disjointed & they still haven't really integrated her very well with the rest of Wisteria Lane.
I liked the way that Lynette talked that guy (Ben?) into telling the boss what Nina had been up to. Of course, then it off backfired on her. lol!!! ;D

Well the Betty storyline hits a major twist in the next week or two, with yet another death in Wisteria Lane - which everybody gets involved in!

I'd let DH slip a bit but I'm back upto date with it all now. I liked the fight between Gabrielle and Sister Mary as well as Carlos throwing Gaby's ex boyf through the window of his studio.
It's obvious that Felicia has sent the anonymouys note saying "you have a grandson", but all in all I'm still finding it a little 'bitty'.
Things like Zach finding out that Mike is the same blood group as him at the beginning of one episode only for this to be taken no further in that episode or the next just make me wonder whether they writing team didn't have as much time to work on the scripts for season two as they did on season one. They seem to have a lot of storylines going out but they don't seem as cohesive as season one was.
