From Digital SpyChannel 4 has retained the rights to show series three and four of Desperate Housewives. How much the channel paid to hold onto the US drama is not known, but Channel 4 confirmed to Digital Spy that it is paying a higher price than it was previously. Other reports suggest that the channel outbid rivals ITV, Sky and Flextech to retain the show which stars Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher and Nicolette Sheridan as the ladies of Wisteria Lane. Series three of the show will air at the beginning of next year. Thank goodness for that. I was afraid it was going to end up the same way as Lost.

Im glad its staying on C4, although it would have been good for ITV to get it since they dont have any decent imports in peak time.
I heard C4 paid three times more than expected for it so after losing Lost they clearly didnt want to lose this show as well.

I was expecting it to be lost to some of the other channels - so that is a good thing anyway.
