Heather Mills McCartney is keen to star in Desperate Housewives - and so is the show's creator.

The estranged wife of former Beatles star Paul McCartney signalled her desire to appear on the hit Channel 4 drama on US entertainment show Extra, claiming to be an avid fan.

The interest appeared mutual as Housewives' creator Marc Cherry later branded the idea "fascinating" and revealed that "if Heather Mills McCartney can act I'd be interested".

This is just priceless. Goes to America and in her desperation (no pun intended) to win over America she claims how much she loves their number 1 programme and goes into great detail what characters she can relate to and why. Most of all she wants a part in it. I just LOL.
