After the opening double episode of Season Three, what does everyone think? Has the show improved on Season Two, when the critics said it failed to match previous form?
(I saw it a night earlier, and that is why this poll is so early!)

I've seen 3 episodes already and the first two episodes blew me away. My husband was never that bothered but endured it for me and I endured it as a long-term Teri Hatcher fan (doesn't mean I'm necessarily a Susan fan but I will always be a Teri one), well the first two episodes we laughed our socks off and just adored it and my husband is completely hooked.
Bang is considered widely by critics and fans alike to be the best episode ever. I read various message boards on DH and Children & Art people are mixed on, some really loved it others see it as an anti-climax after the previous one. However it has 3 very memorable scenes from it involving Susan, Andrew and a character you haven't met yet who sounds like they are going to be an utter hoot and central to the season's mystery.
3:10 The Miracle Song starts to unravel more of the mystery.
All things considered season 3 is shaping up to the best yet. Without divulging spoilers there are just so many intricate plots going on and characters that are just so fasinating. I never rewatch DH but I will be tonight and eagerly await episode 3 on Channel 4 and episode 4 on E4 next Wednesday.

I hope it has improved, season 2 was quite disappointing compaired to season one. Will find out tonight! They fired all the key staff for Season 2 Jez and the boss too back full control. In Season 2 Marc Cherry felt burnt out as he ahd been overwhelmed by the success of Season 1 then ABC wanted mroe episodes at short notice. So in Season 2 he delegated and some scripts etc missed his attention and that is why it was more bitty. However he has promised fans that not a script goes through for Season 3 without passing his desk first. So hopefully you will like it and Andrew is back in episode 3.

Seen the first 2 episodes now and they were excellent. So I would say yes it is the best yet - but there are still another 20 episodes to go!

24 this season planned. I can't wait to see Bang, Children & Art and The Miricale Song. Nice She Ain't sounds fun too from the title. I think that's where the Edie clip used in the UK promos comes from.

That could explain why C4 started the series a week earlier than normal with a double episode then if there are 2 extra.

See my schedule thread Jez which you can view promos for various episodes. And I will update regularly throughout the season. The first 5 are scheduled in the UK so far. The first 14 in the US (of which they have had the first 10). Episode 24 is expected to air in the US on the 20th May 2006.

That's not what the US sites are saying. Whose right who knows? But season 1 had 23 and season 2 had 24
