Not too bad I suppose - although the first season averaged around 4m viewers in the Uk didn't it?

Not bad considering it was up against a long running drama Taggart on ITV1. This week it will be up against Soapstar Superstar for the first half hour.

Those were average audiences I belive. DH episode 1 got up to 4million at times and ep2 to went over 3 million. However we have to remember that the 2nd episode ran until 11:30. TV audiences start to drastically go down after 10:30 and by 11:30 can be quite non existant. so while a little down all in all it didn't do bad particularly episode 2. Channel 4 are supposed to be pleased.
