When Marcia Cross (Bree) announced her real life pregnancy a few months back rumours spread like wild fire, particularly by Eva Longoria (Gabby) that the pregnancy would be written into the show. However creator Marc Cherry soon revealed no, he wouldn't be making Bree pregnant as he felt it would be too much. However this led to speculation that someone else would be pregnant. So far in the US it hasn't happened yet but rumours persist it is any episode now.
So what do you think? You might want to wait further into the season to answer. Do you think it would be good to have a pregnancy? Who would you like to see pregnant or do you not want any pregnancies?
I wouldn't like it to be any of the housewives themselves. Particularly Gabby (at least not this season) as she has had two attempts at motherhood last season. Lynette has four children and a stepdaughter. Penny had not long been born in the first season and quite honestly I don't see giving her another child or even a pregnancy would add to her story. Susan possibly. I think a child could criple Edie's outrageous behaviour so while it might be fun for Edi long-term I don't think I'd like to see her tied down with a child.

Me too so now I guess you have voted so have I.
I hope it isn't Danielle because that will give Bree even more story and screen time and with the actress going off for 5 episodes...there again she could take Danielle with her out of shame.

Now I've read more spoilers for 3x11 I'm leaning to maybe it is Danielle. I think I'd prefer it to be Danielle (regardless of what I said before) at any rate as I don't like where it would lead Susan and Julie with viewers and within the programme. I want to see more of Danielle she is a good little actress. Although I'd like to see less of Bree.

I'm split between Julie and Danielle at the moment - although I'm thinking more Danielle as overall Julie is fairly sensible. But I still voted for her, as Danielle currently hasn't got a boyfriend.

When I answered this poll, I had taped Sunday nights show and not watched it yet. After just watching it I am leaning towards Danielle now. |

I would think Danielle as well. Julie seems too sensible to get pregnant by accident.

I still can't really see how a pregnancy can fit in with Danielle with everything else going on with Bree. However the latest vibes would suggest ABC are deliberately setting out traps to make it appear to be Julie when in reality it is going to be Danielle. I'm going to stick with my first choice Julie but I'm really not so sure anymore and I don't really want it be to Julie I don't think? Give the Susan haters more to complain about and Bree a chance to look down her nose at Susan's parenting when after all we know Danielle is the tart. A teaser for the upcoming episode in the US. Another problem with Episode Four is that we do not get to really see Bree's reaction to the latest development in her daughters life.

We only saw the back of Bree in this episode when she was going away, was it a different actress playing her. ??

I think it was a stand in actress Sooty. All reports suggest that Marcia Cross left in episode 15 (The Little Things You Do Together). She is expected back in the role for the finale.

Shame she left - it wont be the same without her. Glad she returns for the finale though. Hard to believe we are already over 3 months into this series, cant be that much more left now.

I'm not missing Bree one bit. Absolutely hate the character always have done. That said I thought I would miss her a little as the 5 of them all play crucial parts and represent different things to the ongoing fabric of the show.
As to episodes. On Wednesday coming up Channel 4 will have episode 17 "Dress Big" while E4 will have 18 "Liasons."
23 episodes are scheduled for the US. However it still is unclear whether episode 23 will actually be two hours long (thus making it 24). This was the case last season.
Episode 23 whether 1 hour or 2 will air in the US on Sunday 20th May 2007. See the Schedule thread for all the latest schedule info and promos, sneak peeks etc.
