Teri finds love (apparently)

Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher is dating movie director Stephen Kay, according to a report.

The actress was apparently introduced to Kay through a mutual friend recently. She attended the Golden Globes with her new love this week and later spilled the beans to a US television show.

"I'm not single any more. I'm totally in love and it's fabulous," Hatcher told Extra. "He's the most beautiful human being on the planet."

I hope it is true, as she deserves to be happy as her ex-husband really upset her when their marriage ended, and then there was everything with the man who had abused her when she was young.

It is true, the new relationship part at least. DS are a bit slow picking that up. She and him have been dating for about two months now. It caused a storm in the US tabloids a couple of months back because it turns out Stephen is the ex-boyfriend of Eva Longoraia (DH's Gaby). The US tabloids accused Teri of going out with him deliberately to upset Eva, to the point Eva's publicist made a statement saying nothing was further from the truth. She had dated Stephen in 2004 but it was all over and done with now and she was due to marry Tony Parker soon and how happy she (Eva) was. Eva's publicist also said that she hoped Teri and Stephen would be as happy as she and Tony were.

Since then there have been tabloid pictures of Stephen and Teri together and it has raised a few eyebrows as he is really scruffy and the total opposite of her glamour image.

The Golden Globes was their first official public appearance together. She said he didn't want to go. Quite clearly she wanted to show the world how happy they are. I hope like you Eithne she has found real happiness?
