I started a post on episode 5 and then my computer crashed. If I get time I'll post again later but lost all heart now as I'd nearly finished it.
What I will say is Andrew was the highlight for me and Edie was mad, bad, mean and evil and I just love her.
I give Nice She Ain't 8/10. Not as good as the first two episodes of season 3 but still very good. The only slight problem with Nice She Ain't most of the memorable scenes were centred in the first half and it got a little lack lustre towards the end. All in all though very good.

I totally agree with you about Episode 5 Lane, a really good episode with some memorable scenes. All the housewives were brilliant IMO. Nora and Edie were particularly good. Thank goodness they are giving Edie a bigger part to play. Also Austin isn't nice at all.
I'd say 8/10 also.

6 was good too. Not seen 7 but it is going to be brilliant I am sure.
I also think 8: Children and Art has some classic moments in it, although general conscensous seems split.

Well there is a thread for 7 and I can't beat what has already been said and I did post in that thread too, admittedly not much.
On to the next one. Episode 8 Children & Art is a filler episode but still I liked it, my husband wasn't so keen. However it has some really classic scenes in it that more than make up for any not so good ones. The twist ending didn't have much of an impact on me I guess because I knew it was coming. It caused quite a debate in the US when it aired. (Jez I hinted at the end in the spoiler thread, if you want more PM me, but I didn't know how far to go, the title "Children & Art" has clues in it).
This 8th episode had a hard act to follow coming straight after "Bang", arguably the best episode to date. However even so, it started a lot of interesting storylines.
Austin/Julie moved up a step and seeing the good little girl finally rebel (as predicted by Edie some episodes back) was different. I just loved the whole Ian/Susan catching Julie/Austin on the sofa scene. That was a classic Desperate Housewives moment with top-notch dialogue. I was laughing my socks off. This was one of those scenes that is quite memorable. And at last Susan being the responsible parent that she surely has been in the past before becoming desperate, to raise such a level headed girl. I serious scene handled comically and pulled off well.
One of the other most memorable scenes from this episode and a classic Desperate Housewives moment involved Andrew (of course), Orson, Bree and the introduction of Orson's mother. Oh I love Gloria? Hodge and the mystery with her is just going to get bigger.
As to the finale, it just left you wanting more. Spooky, creepy and I imagine if you weren't expecting it, a huge surprise.
For those 3 components alone I give this episode 7/8 out of 10, even if I can't remember what else happened.
So far for me this season episodes 1, 2 & 7 have been the best. DH at its best. 5 and 6 were also good as was 3. 4 has been the weakest link so far, but even that wasn't too bad. Episode 8 when good very very good, so more than makes up for the rest.
