Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has insisted that David Beckham will not be making an appearance on the show.
Last month, a report claimed that the LA Galaxy footballer had agreed to play one half of a gay couple alongside singer Robbie Williams.
However, Eva, who plays Gabrielle Solis on the hit ABC drama, has now confirmed that the story was untrue.
"I talked to Victoria [Beckham] the other day," Longoria told US TV show Extra. "She was laughing. David had a good laugh out of it. They're not coming on the show."
Tuc Watkins and Kevin Rahm were recently confirmed as the actors who had signed up to play the show's first gay couple.
Desperate Housewives returns to US screens on September 30.
