From Digital SpyEva Longoria has hinted that her Desperate Housewives co-star Teri Hatcher does not get along with the other cast members. In a magazine interview, Longoria revealed that she has developed solid friendships with Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Nicollette Sheridan, while Hatcher does not spend time with them outside work. "Flick and I live down the street from each other. When Tony [Parker] is in town, Marcia and I get together with our husbands - those two are big basketball fans," Longoria told Elle magazine. "And Nicollette and I go shopping all the time. They are a great group of girls. And some of us are really close." A show insider added: "All the other girls are very close friends and hang out in each others' trailers and even at their homes. But Teri never joins in the fun and conversations. She often runs late for scenes and causes awkwardness on set." Like in any mixture of people, there is usually one that doesn't gel with the rest. Didn't the same thing happen with the actresses on Sex And The City. ?

Doesn't really surprise me.
I think it would be pretty amazing if everyone did get on perfectly with everyone else, particularly in a high-profile ensemble show like this.
Just think of all those egoes jostling for position!

Exactly blackcatz. It'd be close on a miracle if they all got on very well. I doubt there are big arguments or people storming off set as has been suggested in the red tops before, but at the same time I doubt they all get on extremely well.

Agreed! Also Eva's words have been taken out of context. Tabloids hyping back to the Vanity Fair scandal.
Teri is actually close to Nicolette, they do socialise and have been seen doing so, also her daughter Emerson Rose goes horse-riding with Nic every weekend.
Teri also socialises with some of the lesser well known cast and crew and she and Felicity have been seen supporting each other outside work such as at book launches etc.
The real one with issues with cast members appears to be Marcia Cross. Time and again her name comes up in disuputes. I think it has been established that much of what was said about her in the Vanity Fair fiasco proved to be true. Marcia did have massive tantrums and swore at all and sundry because she wasn't getting her way and Teri was getting all the attention. Now if this week's US tabloids are to be believed Marcia and Dana Delany (the new main character Kathryn) are at odds. This could be tabloid talk however apparently there has been rumours on internet blogs for sometime now that Marcia throws her weight around and is just not getting on with Dana who is supposed to be very nice.
Marcia is supposed to be very closed to Eva. So perhaps Eva is less close to Teri than the rest, but they do socialise. Also regarding Eva and Teri, one should remember Teri not only went to one bridal bash for Eva and won a prize, as well as Eva's wedding, Teri also threw a second bridal bash for Eva. Also just 2 or 3 days ago Teri was talking about texts to and from her and Eva regarding the Writer's Strike hackling Eva was getting. It is just despite the public persona, Teri does seem to value her privacy away from work. Also it has to be remembered when the series started Teri and Felicity wree the only ones with children where the other 3 ladies were single and without responsibilities. Teri is devoted to her daughter and chooses to spend every spare moment she can with her daughter and has gone on record to say everything she does is for her daughter. Has hinted in the past that her only drive for work is to provide for her daughter. In fact when her career was at its first peek 10 years ago she gave it all up to be a mother. There were stories at the time that she interviewed 60 nannies and hated the lot. She did very little in the entwining years other than for money until she divorced her husband and found she had to go back to full time work.
As I posted on the Lois and Clark forum where this came up in the Teri Hatcher section, how many of us actually do socialise with all our work colleagues? It doesn't mean we don't like them, it doesn't mean we don't get on with them, it is just we all lead busy lives away from work and sometimes that doesn't leave room to mix with everyone.
