Emmerdale's Ethan Blake, 28, is set to snog 14-year-old Debbie Dingle in an explosive new storyline.

But the kissing couple have very different views the morning after.

"Ethan [played by Liam O'Brien] is left agonising over what he has done," an insider from the Yorkshire soap told the Sun today.

But he adds that Debbie (Charley Webb) becomes "determined to start a full-blown affair".

The incident sparks a Woolpack rumour-fest, with regulars stunned at the antics of the 28-year-old trainee priest.

"Debbie has been pursuing Ethan," the Sun's source explained, adding: "Viewers will be shocked when he finally gives in."

I always wondered why they brought in another priest to a one horse village like Emmerdale.

And yet with Ethan, if they'd introduced a curate for the sake of having a curate, they could have developed a really good character over time.
