I disagree - I really hope this isn't going anywhere. Just for once I'd like to see a couple last for more than a few years (like Jack & Vera in Coirrie). Yes, Jack is a miserable old fart a lot of the time, but he's not a bad person, he always tries to help his kids, and he loves Diane.
TBH, I think TPTB made a completely unrealistic move by having Billy come back to live in the village in the first place. Would you move back to a small village after you'd murdered one of the locals? I think not.

I'm with blackcatz. I'm fed up with affairs all the time.
Surely as part of Billy's parole he would have been banned from going anywhere near the village rather than asking permission to visit his kids there.

Very good point Patsy.
...but then this is Soapland...and Emmerdale Soapland at that, which I s'pose means any sense of realism is not even considered.

You're not kidding. Sometimes I wonder what they're all on.

"You don't say you love me, just because you can, you don't have to stay forever, I will understand..." Sorry just singing Diane's fave song Actually it is 'You don't HAVE to say you love me.... I cannot stand this storyline at all, and it is positively stomache churning the way Val is throwing herself at Billy Bring back the old comical Val.
