Emmerdale Viewer Awards 2005

Emmerdale Club members have been able to vote since the release of the August Newsletter. However from Friday 16th August 2005 every other Emmerdale fan will be able to vote online through various ways including these very boards.

This is the Emmerdale fans chance to have some fun and also tell the bosses and actors of Emmerdale what they think of one of the UK's best loved soap operas. Emmerdale also tends to miss out at awards ceremonies so this is also the chance to give credit where credit is due to your favourite actors and stories and perhaps your favourite soap?

The results will be first revealed at the Emmerdale Gala Weekend - 13-15 January 2006. The results will also be posted online during that weekend.

Like last year Winners will receive a certificate and the results handed into the bosses of Emmerdale. Keith Richardson himself (head of Drama at Granada Yorkshire) was interested in the results last year and gave his blessing for the awards to happen this year.

Everyone is entitld to vote.

one vote per category
(but you don't have to vote in every category if you don't want to)

Emmerdale Club members have been able to vote by post from the release of the August 2005 newsletter and will be able to continue to vote by post up to 1st December 2005.

Like last year you can also vote publicly or privately through the message boards who have chosen to carry the awards.

VOTING THROUGH THESE BOARDS

If you want to join in the voting discussions and let your votes be public then vote in the Viewer Awards 2005 Public Forum that will go online on Friday. If choosing the message boards method just go to the category you want to vote in and leave your post.

If you want to vote privately through the message board system, then PM the Admins on these boards - up to 26th December 2005. (You will see their names under the board description from Friday)

14. Best Actress
15. Overall favourite character


PLEASE NOTE: All Storylines that begin on and after the 15th September 2005 will be considered in next year's awards. This is to make it fair to all the nominees and give them an equal chance.
