I really don't know what is wrong with her but Inside soap has wrote that she has cancer. Not sure if its true or not though. I wonder where the story is going to go.

I don't know either ever since she came back. I only srtarted watching at the end of march so i never saw Sam and Alice for any great length of time like others, but i still don't get her. Sher's just a non-entity like Gus in EastEnders!

At least they've admitted they got something wrong. There wouldn't be an announcement over Corrie is they were told they got something wrong.
They were right about the stout. I met someone at a convention years ago who was heavily pregnant (sci-fi fans are NOT weirdos! Well, some are) and she was told by her doctor to drink a pint of Guinness a day for iron. Their son is a very healthy 6 year old now.

At least they've admitted they got something wrong. There wouldn't be an announcement over Corrie is they were told they got something wrong. Well it was the ITV announcer that made the announcement not anyone from Emmerdale or YTV/Granada so its quite possible the same thing would happen had a mistake occurred in Corrie.

But Granada/YTV have to acknowledge their error. YTV did. Corrie are always getting things wrong and not a peep. But then Corrie is the golden goose and their heads are all up their bums when it comes to criticism and doing what's best and correct!

What was the announcement? I wasn't watching on ITV? Was she drinking when pregnant or something?
On the other topic if Alice does have cancer then it will be very sad and could be a bit of a rip off from a soap on the Irish soap Ros na Run ("town of secrets").
Last night one of the characters on that died, with the help of her husband. The character found out at the end of the last series that she had cancer, but at the time she was also pregnant. Over the break she had the baby, but had to wait for cancer treatment or have an abortion. She chose to keep her baby and wait until it was born before she had the treatment.
Of course the cancer developed quite a bit while she was pregnant, but she did give birth to a baby girl. Last night though her cancer got worse and in really upsetting scenes her husband helped her die.
I'm not saying that this is going to happen in Emmerdale, but if it does then it will be very similar. I don't know if the actors involved would be good enough though for such a demanding storyline.

It was about the liver and pointing out not to eat loads of it.
There have been plenty of real-life stories like that where the woman's been pregnant then discovered she's got cancer. Very sad. But will anyone be sad if Alice dies?

I don't really think she has made a big enough impact on anyone, certainly not me. Maybe she will grow on me, shame they have brought this storyline in so quickly.

I think I must be on my own, but I really like Alice. I think she's going to be too ill to have the baby because I dont think they'd want Sam to be a dad it wouldn't seem right some how. If it does happen it will be very sad, I can already see the heart-to-heart scenes between Sam and Zak

Funny she's jealous of Emmerdale's answer (minus dead hubbies) to Miss Diane from Crossroads. She should be grateful Sam's not dead too! That pudding bowl haircut does her no favours though.

Diane Lawton/Parker/Hunter and Benny were were much like what Emmerdale did. Diane taught Benny to read and was blonde!

Yes. And there's Carlton saying there's no place for someone like Benny these days. So many fans said, "Oh yes there is. Look at Sam Dingle!" Sam is Benny right down to the woolly hat.

Yes. Although I dont think Benny would have fitted in with Carlton's glam version of Crossroads. Remember how different Doris was.
