Remember that family who won the reality show to become Emmerdales first Soapstars.
Anybody know what happened to the 'actors' who played them.
That was a total disaster of an idea, wasn't it.
I still cringe thinking back on it. ;D

You'd they would have learnt their mistakes after the Soapstars but no the Kings still happened. ;D

i agree, they were terrible. Thats probabaly why they havent made a 2nd series of soapstars.

They just didnt gel together as a family...it was a bad idea..but I remember being hooked on the programme at the time.

Does anyone remember when they did the Soapstar thing, they also did a dogstar one.?
A dog was picked out to go with the family, what happened to that ??

I remember the programme but not any more.
Incidently the boy of the family..wasnt he in Casualty on Sat?..or was that someone quite different.

Wasn't the wife called Maggie? I never watched the soapstars programme but I don't think they really fitted in Emmerdale.

I think the problem was that the family were forced on the Emmerdale bosses by ITV. The family could have been good IMO if they had got it right (some of the actors weren't great) because the music shows have got many big stars off them - Will Young and that girl band - Girls Aloud. Then there are G4 as well, and Liberty X (I'm being informed anyway, not quite sure myself).
If the family had gotten some really good storylines then it would have been good as well, rather than the rubbish ones they did get. And also they should have moved into the village - not the holiday village!
